FINNISH EDUCATION EXPO MIDDLE EAST WAS HELD ON FEB 25th
The first ever Finnish Education Expo Middle East was held on February. The participants were school leaders and senior management from the UAE and neighbouring countries. We heard interesting panel discussions as well individual talks from gamification of learning to entrepreneurship in education and everything in between. The keynote speeches were given by Mr. Olli-Pekka Heinonen, Director General of Finnish National Agency for education and Mr. Mishal Kanoo, the Chairman of Kanoo Group.

We had 15 amazing Finnish companies represented at the Finnish Pavilion at GESS Dubai 2019 and it was buzzing every day until closing time! The visitors included also ministers and other state officials.

KHDA explores best arabic teaching methods in dubai
Schools in the UAE are adopting new practices in teaching the Arabic language. “Seppo is a platform where teachers can create games that can be personalised to each student’s needs and progress […] several UAE schools have subscribed to the platforms and are using the game to make learning the Arabic language ‘fun’.”
